Determination

Every business has plans. Some are formal, while some are informal. Putting a plan in writing helps clarify the objectives and how to achieve them.

Executing a plan is more important than creating one. In order to be a useful guide, a plan need to be dynamic. Change is inevitable and updating the plan to incorporate those changes is essential.

Making sure you have the resources needed to execute the plan is obvious. Equally important, you and your organization need to have the will to bring your plan to reality. Will is the determination to follow through completely. It requires mental toughness.

Not every plan you make needs to be a formal document. But, if the success of your organization depends on a team to get things done, you need some way to communicate the plan. The plan should inspire and give everyone the will to make it happen.
